Arvind Patmarajah is a serial entrepreneur whose last startup venture was a Malaysian on-demand logistics company focusing on same-day delivery. The startup was founded in 2015 and raised USD1 million in seed funding from investors including 500 Startups. With a background in accounting and finance, and more than 10 years of corporate experience in business development, strategy, finance, investor relations, and sales, he frequently mentors startups and entrepreneurs on how to ideate and validate disruptive business models that can scale well via corporate-startup partnerships.
After NeonRunner, Arvind set-up the Malaysian office of Rainmaking - a Danish corporate innovation company - in 2017, and then went on to consult for Setia Haruman, the master developer of Cyberjaya. He is currently building StartFund, an initiative that aims to help Malaysian tech entrepreneurs build better startups by enriching connectivity and collaboration between stakeholders in the Malaysian startup ecosystem.
In general, Arvind is passionate about business model innovation, beautiful design, urban history, smarter cities, and dreams of either mentoring or starting the next Malaysian unicorn startup.
